Year 5 Crashed Vehicle Project – Operation Eagle Eye

This week the children in Year 5 have had the opportunity to find out more about road safety and how to prevent accidents in vehicles during the Operation Eagle Eye Crashed Vehicle project.

The pupils made their own model cars and tested them in a crash situation – the results weren’t pretty! Some groups were given extra materials to reinforce their car and we discussed how careful car design can help to prevent injuries in car accidents.

All of the children really enjoyed the experience and we’re sure we have some future car designers amongst our year group.
